Header Wrap

Tonight we just went back into the engine and wrapped the headers. We had some of the headers done before, but we decided to wrap them all.

Not firing right

We couldn't figure out why the car wouldn't idle right, or why the car would stall when we put it in gear. The spark plugs wouldn't do anything when my dad unplugged them.

Today we were working on the timing again. We are having problems getting gas to the two back cylinders. Sounds like a misfire somewhere.

We did take a little drive to get the tranny fluid settled down in the converter. We then noticed a big leak under the car. Our power steering hose blew up!!! It's just another hill on this rollercoaster. We'll get it.

Steering links

Dad and I are finishing the steering links tonight. Also picked up a new tac, header wrap, and a tap for the chrome lug-nuts. Next week exhaust... Hopefully!!!

Front suspension

We are finishing up the front ball joints before we take it for exhaust and front alignment.

Vector wheels

As the days draw closer to getting the exhaust on the car, I switched the wheels so I can get the wheel alignment the same day.

She's a Bleeder

Came over to my parents to see tranny fluid all over the floor. We think it might be the tube as it is not the original, but a replacement Larry gave me. We'll fix it.
