Tucked Away

As winter approaches, The General has been tucked away again. We still have plenty to do, but priorities are set to get ready for winter. Next weekend I'll check another thing off the "to do list". Until then, it's tucked away like a toy waiting to be played with again.

Back speakers

Today I spent what little time I had massaging metal for the speakers to fit right. I bolted them down, placed the insulation down, then the jute. Turned out pretty well, and I like seeing the back complete.

Wire looms

We changed the valve cover gaskets to cork tonight. We added the billet wire looms as well. They work for now, but in the future I might switch the look. Who knows, they might grow on me by then.

3in Stainless Steel Dual pipes

We went to pick up the car yesterday from the shop. The guy that did the work had a rough time he said. It took to days and I have to basically sell my first born to pay for it, but it sounds great so I'm happy with it.

Exhaust Place

We delivered the car before 8. No need for a rooster today for that neighborhood, The General growling did the job. The people there came out to see it, and we received many compliments for the work we did.

We also got to see what was going to be done and how everything would lay out. They needed two days so it is still there for the weekend. I told them to go ahead and align the wheels as well. I'll pick it up tomorrow. Can't wait.

Packing up for exhaust

Tonight we got The General packed up to take in for surgery. Stainless steel exhaust implants before the weather turns bitter. The last time this car was on a trailer I was bringing it home... Four years ago.
