We got some galvanized steel to re-enforce the rotted areas to the top front fenders. After cutting away the old rotted pieces new steel is added. Spot welded it first and then my brother applied the complete weld. Can’t do any welding without a little fire breaking out. This small fire was underneath the fender. He also welded a new steel piece in place where the battery sat and was rotted. Also pictured is the front valance that I sandblasted and sprayed some primer on there to prevent any rusting until the paint job.
